My wife and I saw the Condos at El Dorado in Lake Chapala Mexico in February of 2010. We were very impressed with the project and decided to purchase three months in the Fractional program instead of looking for rentals in Ajijic or Chapala. Our first month began this November. When we arrived we were very anxious and courious about what our unit was going to be like. Yes we had seen the model and even walked through the unfinished unit but we were still a little concerned about what our new home away from home was going to be like. When we walked in we were “blown away”. We could hardly believe how nice it was, the furniture, the artwork, just everything. It exceeded our expectations. We have owned condos for 25 years and have traded to many great places including Europe, the Canary Islands, Hawaai, many other US destinations – the Canadian Rockies and Mexico. We have stayed in some great Condos and have had many wonderful holidays. El Dorado is the nicest Condo we have stayed in and when you consider the view and the amenities we have at our disposal we could not be happier. We were so impressed with our new home that we have decided to purchase another three months in El Dorado and from now on we will be here for six months every year. Yes we are going through some growing pains and not everything is perfect yet but the staff have been very helpful and are doing everything they can to make things right and to make us feel at home.

We’ve been to many condos, and the ambiance in El Dorado was just spectacular. We were very relaxed, and the people here are friendly and helpful. The views you get of Lake Chapala are just amazing. We got to see the completed condos, and the villas, and they were finished the best that I’ve seen anywhere. What we liked, was the lack of pressure, we felt like we were part of a family.
